Just thought it was weird that someone would criticize what was the obvious sub.

It wasn't the obvious sub. Negredo off; certainly. But not Garcia on. Milner should have come on.

A holding player like Garcia to stifle their creative play and retain possession is the perfect sub under the circumstances.

If Garcia had any were the least bit effective I would agree.
