Great tactics if we only need a point and Spuds do not look a threat , Kovacic gives us solidarity in the middle but it reduces our attacking intent , we are not playing with wingersand depending on Gvardiol & Walker getting up the field.
We are going to have to go for it in the 2nd half at some stage and take risks , sacrificing Kovaciic for one of Doku, Grealish or Alvarez has to happen if we dont score , Spuds playing far better than i thought they would , they have been bobbins for weeks but have turned up tonight.
Flip of a coin this game could go either way , it would be typical to end up a draw and it f*cks up both our seasons , we are playing to cautious and have to get into them and get behind their back four.

We are playing too narrow and this means that Kev and Phil are too close together, easy to defend against and finding it tough to get space. Pep will see this, change it and we should be fine.

They are nervous and you can see it when you have both Bernie & Rodders just giving away cheap possession. There left is ripe for attacking and maybe in this game we need to move Phil there to exploit the space - either that or make an early sub.

Really really weird 45 minutes. Individual errors everywhere but worse than that, there's simply no intensity whatsoever in our game. it's like we have nothing riding this game and are saving ourselves for the cup final. Did not expect that at all. Nothing needs changing, they just need a rocket up their arse, perhaps Kdb more than anyone.

Walker needs to stop playing as a winger, pointless when he has no end pass anyway and it's causing problems at the back, just do his role, play how we normally play and we can get the job done second half.

I will be livid if we throw away the title and the 4 in a row history on a performance like that.

Sort it out blues.

The problem with Walker is that Silva is playing like a defensive fullback too, he's got to do better.
