We haven’t been pretty. The formation with Delph coming inside is making us far too narrow at the back and we don’t seem to want to keep the ball. We don’t have an outlet. However, if this is the best that spuds have I don’t think we have that much to worry about.

Sane for Mahrez with at least half an hour to go and Kev for Gundogan and we’ll finish them without burning ourselves out.

Mahrez must be awesome in training, I don’t want to get on his back but I don’t see what he offers. He isn’t going to get space to play in so his step over and cut inside just doesn’t work. I’d play him on the left so he’s not having to turn back into dead ends every single time he gets the ball.

Very, very poor half of football.

We've missed our only big chance, we've allowed Spurs to turn the game into a niggly, bitty game and the ref will always favour the home side with these tit for tat fouls, and we've not imposed ourselves at all.

Sterling and Aguero isolated, Gundogan looking slow of thought, Silva looking 53 and Fernandinho lucky to not get sent off for getting baited into a completely unnecessary elbow to Englands darling.

Pep must be fucking furious with this.

On the plus side we were 3-0 down at this stage last season!
