Take away erling winning that pen and what did we do?
Dominate them, tire them. Keeper off, their second biggest threat with knock, making them fear countering.

It’s the first 45 minutes of the season away from home to a side that gave us all manner of problems last season.

What did you expect, 0-5 at halftime?

Starting by showing some Haaland misses and saying he’s frustrated in the really creepy tone they do when trying to create a narrative.

West Ham already showing signs of tiring. Keep it up City and dont get careless or lose concentration.

A lot of stick for Grealish but he has cancello flying past him. He can’t relax as he knows the left back has gone awol.

More cancello the issue for me not Grealish
Jack's happy to stroll about in first gear and offer no assist or goal threat, take lots of touches and then pass it back 10 yards. That's all ok if Pep deems his contribution to be satisfactory.

Controlling it without looking too dangerous. First game of the season and need to speed it up but that will come with time, fitness and getting used to playing with a true 9 again.

KDB has been quiet, Cancelo good and bad in equal measure. Everyone else has been solid rather than spectacular really.

He needs to be given a free pass until we sign someone who can overlap him. I don’t know what people expect from him when the team is not set up to get anything out of him. If he’s shit when the team suits him, then fine. But until then…
Bullshit.

Do you think walker and cancelo two top international full backs aren't capable of doing an overlap? They've clearly been instructed not to. They are more than capable.
