True, but Lewis is finding himself in the spaces in which typically Foden finds himself, beyond the last man and with a split second to react. David Silva was quite similar for us, great at getting there but inexplicably never able to convert in the way he did for Spain. Let’s hope he nets soon as his attacking play deserves it.

Would you agree we should probably give him a year or two as a full senior player before passing judgement, though?
