Agree as Phil and Kovacic will both replace Bernardo centrally. City will have MORE games next season, Club World Cup mid season and KDB is fragile... Gundo staying is sooo important for the refocus in august.Agree as Phil and Kovacic will both replace Bernardo centrally. City will have MORE games next season, Club World Cup mid season and KDB is fragile... City will probably go for a winger to replace Bernardo and then another winger if Mahrez does depart. Gundo staying would be massive.
He’ll be a perfect captain to manage the natural drop off from this treble season.

I watched one of their end of season games without my glasses and I thought he was Enzo for 20 minutes, he stood out as being the best and most positionally sound of the 3 that were in midfield.
I think he is just a really solid player, adds some steel as well
