He offers different things. He's not as good as Gundo at arriving in the box and scoring goals, but he is better at carrying the ball and he's more dynamic. We'll be better at transitions with Kova.

"we need to remember Rodri, Mahrez, Grealish they were all awful in their first season. yes its true Kovacic couldnt find a City shirt with his passes at all in the 4 PL games Pep started him and cost us 2 games with his red cards, and he is nothing like Gundo around the box but in his second season he will come good, we should not sell him to a Saudi club after just one season".

Think he will struggle the first few weeks

He will have to get used to playing in a proper system where players know their roles and play for the good of the team rather than randomly heading upfield like an under 7s side

Not the flashiest of signings but a very smart one. With his press resistance and ability to glide through midfields he'll fit us like a glove. Can fit our team like a glove. The fee is just the icing on the cake.
