Matheus Cunha

Hes always had this.. even in Atleti, very little actual points output though. A typical nearly player. And hard to know which positions he fits optimal and where he wants to play at.

Not necessarily advocated for us to go in for him now, but I do think he is one to watch.

There were definite shades of prime Yaya tonight against United and, if he can continue to show those types of performances over the next 9 months, I think he could be a great addition to our midfield next season.

Keep an eye on, but nothing more at this stage.

AMF or No10 a big priority in the next window (s)

Maybe even before this window is out with the KDB news.
Yeah problem is the news about KDB probably adds 10-20m to prices quoted to us.
We're not desperate, but other clubs will likely see it as the case

I actually think—if he keeps up performing like he did yesterday this season—he would be an excellent 10/8 for us under Pep.

I reckon he is best suited to playing behind the forwards, not as one.

Played well again yesterday despite the result, could we get him for a reasonable fee with Wolves FFP issues? He's probably a squad addition more than a top starting 11 player though

Quite surprised by the links to the other Matheus (Nunes), as I think Cunha has played better of the two to start the season and also has the attributes needed to play as an 8 in Pep’s system (along with playing as a hold up 10, which would benefit Erling in certain matches). He is also nearly a year younger.

But perhaps we’re looking for more flair than strength and press resistance?

Only just seen this thread......i agree.

Cunha is the player that would i would choose but the team needs a player like Nunes more.
