How have you come to that conclusion?

They are weak in midfield so are trying to sign a good midfielder with CL experience in Nunes. They have let several defenders leave so are looking at replacements e.g. Ake, De Ligt and Kounde etc. Then the links to Neymar and Ronaldo is just press nonsense.

For me he is A KDB successor.. Doesn't mean he is THE one though, he has similarities in qualities in ball carrying from midfield and power. He hasnt got KDBs variance of passing though but who has. The problem is that he will have no real role in the team as long as the outstanding KDB is there, I want to have variety and different attributes in the midfield like Bernardo, David Silva etc in ball retention next to KDB and not a man similar to himself.

Im kinda surprised no one has gone for him yet though, but rumours are starting to pop up again now.

Can see it if/when Gundo goes though if he stays this summer in Portugal.
