Cheers Gus...I haven't seen him play, so just going of some of the reports out there etc.

Either way I reckon we are in for a decent summer of arrivals: )
 
yeah, realistically hes nowhere near as class as bernardo and gundo were when they signed. pep would have to coach him hard

If he can do a good and reliable job at CDM then that's enough for me, to be honest. Gundogan would not work as a lone six at this point for me, so we're only one Rodri injury away from being fucked. I know literally nothing about him, though, so if anyone can give us some eye reports or stats then I'd be fascinated to know what we're thinking about him.

He's not impressed me albeit I've only seen him in one game & other clips of YouTube. We've already got better & need to top class replacement for Fernandinho & this guy isn't it.

The guy we need is Aurelien Tchouameni. Having watched a few matches & several clips, he's the one. He's 21, valued around €70m & has played for France 8 times already. This kid's got the lot & wouldn't just be a Rodri backup, he'd be solid competition.

If we got him, we'd have two of the top ten CDM's in world football imo, both with years ahead of them.

Aye, that's the name I've heard all over the place. It seems Liverpool are well-in for him, though, and I haven't heard of any links with us. Interesting to see how it all plays out. I have no idea who Tolm might have been thinking of with that "melt the internet" stuff. I struggle to see anyone realistic who might do that.

Have to agree. Nunes is a client of our dear friend Jorge Mendez who uses City links to advertise his players every summer (William Carvalho, Bruno Fernandes, Nuno Mendes etc).

This rumour is most probably BS. Pep's description of Matheus as 'one of the world's best players' after Sporting clash also sounded very suspicious
