I’m an FOC pal but I’ll never be that much of an FOCAnd there’s me assuming they just didn’t have to think of Anne Widdecombe!

Go fluff yerself.I’m an FOC pal but I’ll never be that much of an FOC
And £5m Vincent KompanyI agree. I still think it’s ridiculous. Clearly city have their limitations.
I do also like it when we sign cheaper players that turn into top class players as well. Akanji and zaba being two great examples
Wolves fan, interesting and a surprising development regarding Nunes.
My take, he is a very talented player, unfortunately at Wolves he really is playing in a shit team and it would be difficult to compare what he has to do for us, to how City would use him. He is a very attack minded player, he is fast, he glides and carries the ball making forward runs. Negatives he switches off defensively but City tend to have the ball for maybe 65-70percent of the times, as stated it difficult to compare how Wolves and City have to play given our poor thread bare playing squad. Price wise, yes expensive but you have to blame the values put on Mount and Rice and the silly inflated prices Chelsea pay out. We will also loosing one of our better players and very close to the window closing. Overall I believe he would be a success at City
Vinnie cost 10.4 million from Anderlecht! And £5m Vincent Kompany
I'm not talking about Romano or any other social media type. I don't even go on twitter. I'm talking about people trashing players that Pep and the club are actually pursuing. Some of those may not be someone's cup of tea, but I'd hardly think City would be in the business of bringing in shite players. So what you are saying is that if someone think another teams player is shite they should immediately change their opinion if Romano (or similar) puts out a tweet saying we are interested in said player, or keep their opinion to themselves since they could risk annoying snowflake strangers on this forum that dont agree with them?
I disagree, at least as long as the player is not even a City player :) Calling the clubs players shite on the other hand, thats a different thing and disrespectful, in my opinion.
A bargain at twice the price then :)Vinnie cost 10.4 million from Anderlecht!
You make a great point about talented attacking players failing to shine in teams that are struggling. It isn’t just the lack of possession, but also the fear of trying things, losing the ball, lack of confidence, that undermines players when teams that are struggling. We saw it for enough years. I suspect he would be a different proposition entirely in a team with 75% plus possession and Rodri behind him. I hope we get him, and oddly for the reasons stated above, his departure might not weaken Wolves too much, and the money can be used wisely. I think your owners have looked at the three promoted clubs, plus Everton, and thought we can totally re-set here and just about get away with it. I hope so, I like the hostility of Molineux, once a year, no more.Wolves fan, interesting and a surprising development regarding Nunes.

If Pep rates him, which he clearly said he did, there’s a good player in there, and one he could make even better. Playing in a poor Wolves side will make a player look a lot worse than playing in our sideI remember watching him against us whilst at Sporting and he had a really strong game against a midfield of Rodri, Bernardo and KDB I believe. There's a player in there definitely. I think people's opinion would be different if we were purchasing him from Sporting and not Wolves. Definitely a bit of premier league snobbery going on here.
Turns out kalvin is shit so they do make mistakesI'm not talking about Romano or any other social media type. I don't even go on twitter. So that's what I'm saying. I hope that helps clarify my point for you.
As far as annoying any snowflake strangers on here, I can't speak to that basically because I'm no snowflake. So I do hope that's not what you're insinuating.
And yes some of the overly assured bashers on here are annoying as fuck....to me.
I didn't think that sounded right, he signed for £7.6million.Vinnie cost 10.4 million from Anderlecht!
Absolutely. I remember my sons and I were amazed how the ball could seem tied to his boots for so long and how he could not be knocked off the ball at all. Then in early June we went for a week in N. Wales. Bernardo arrived in Manchester to sign for United (!), City went to 100-1 on to sign him, he signed and we hoped that he would be joined by Benjamin Mendy - but that took a little longer.

Yep let's measure everything this regime has built and done on the decision to bring in Kalvin Phillips...that is absolutely the perfect example of how we operate.Turns out kalvin is shit so they do make mistakes
I was just answering your assertion that we dont make mistakes , we do , we are the best run club in the world but we are not infallableYep let's measure everything this regime has built and done on the decision to bring in Kalvin Phillips...that is absolutely the perfect example of how we operate.
Nope he cost €8.5, the £ v € exchange rate at the time was about 1:30, so I should have said £6m not £5m, pardon meVinnie cost 10.4 million from Anderlecht!
Agree about Nunes, not sure about the hostility of Molyneux though, was there last season and everyone was sitting in the safe standing right from the offYou make a great point about talented attacking players failing to shine in teams that are struggling.
