Is it possible to realise that we are the best run, best managed and best coached side in world football and be underwhelmed at the prospect of a signing at the same time, or are the two mutually exclusive? Not everyone that has signed on Pep’s watch have worked out. Claudio Bravo, Nolito, Philips… and the list is longer if you go back just 2 or 3 years before Pep came and the Barca boys were still running the show. Anyone remember Patrick Roberts??

We are desperate for bodies, so yes, I’m sure they will get game time. The use of 5 subs now make play time more assessable. We will be down to 3 centre midfielders, Podence is off, so again we will need a wide player to rotate. Overall it may work out well for them, and us given the lack of money available for signing.

Better tell Pep he can make subs….
