Matias Kranevitter

May I ask as my South American (League not necessarily players) knowledge isn't quite what it should be (putting that loosely). Is this player as good as what the short video clips I've seen of him show to be? He looks like a player with a really good footballing brain but has he the pedigree to play in the Premier league? Is he quick enough or strong enough?
... but... about which of all these players are you asking about??? Pisano, Mancuello, Mammana... or about all of them???

What do you guys think of Marcelo Meli from Boca Juniors.
Interesting player, too. As Jonathan Calleri, as I said.

"Boca is Boca, you know". What, it doesnt have to mean, "he has to be FOR SURE a classy player"... but... not everyone comes to play for such a big club... so, like with River, you always have in this case a 60% posivilities, that he is a good player.... :-)

Hey, you´re welcome here, mate. Everyone who has some notion of southamerican football are a contribution here. Never heard about Pisano, but Mancuello is wanted on Celta Vigo. And Berizzo are a very good coach, IMO, could become he an interesting player under his discipline and is to have for about 5m Euro, really a bargain.

I´m not following so much Indep, as I´m a fan of Universidad de Chile, and we have a some simpathy for Racing, their bitter rivals. From Independiente, only wanted sometimes to know, how Mauricio Victorino was doin there. A great and experienced CB, that let good memories by us there.

Mannama is a good player, but a bit overrated imo. There are others more interesting players in Argentina now. Jonathan Calleri (Boca), to name one.

Cheers, mate!

Thanks for the welcome :)

I think too that Calleri may be a good signing, he is doing a good pre-season and with Osvaldo leaving he may play more regulary. But to be honest 12milllion euros for his signing is too much, Monaco and Palermo are interested in him.

He has potential. With no european experience he will need adaptation time. But to answer your question, yes, I for one can see him playing in the Premier.

Proper gutted about this.

I tell you what, Atletico have signed Vietto, Kranevitter, Rodrigo Caio on loan, and they have Correa returning, these are some of the brightest young South American talents in the game.

If they live up to their potential then Atletico are going to make an absolute fortune selling these players on in the future.

€8 million. Christ. It's a deal, it's a steal.....

I thought it was a done deal he was off to Aletico? Playing tonight for River against Temperley.

River are in the Copa Libertadores semi-finals which play out first leg this week.

If River get knocked out he will go this summer, if they win the competition he will stay until December so he can compete in the World Club Cup which is a huge deal in South America, then leave for Atletico in the January window.
