The boys got class. He suffered alot last year with injuries and he could never get use to the high line. I'm sure if he plays regular next year he'd shine again.

Would leave us very thin as Lescott has already gone......If we let Nastasic go, we'd have to be pretty confident we already had a deal wrapped up to bring in a new CB...

He's 21. Give him time. At 21, the two best centre backs in the world today (Kompany and Silva imo) didn't even know their strongest position.
Yep its interesting to look back some of the current world class center back, where were they when they were 20-21 year old players...
T. silva signed for Porto when he was 19 years old didnt really got chances then moved to Dynamo Moscow also didnt play much (had some strange sickness) and went back to Brazil and played 2 seasons there and only when he was 24 years old he went to Milan.
Or Vidic, until 23 years old he played at a Serbian team then moved to Russia where he played 1.5 season and then moved to United.
Nastasic is very young of course he needs enough playing time when fit. Will he get it here, not sure about that, for Pellegrini I think Demichelis will be the first option from bench if he has to put in a CB. He trusts him, and he played well in second half of the season.
We have Rekik as well, he will need playing time to improve.

This loan to Juventus sounds like a ludicrous idea and has absolutely fuck all benefit for us.
Will get plenty of game time for us next season and barring injury should get back to his 2011/12 form.

Selling or even loaning out Nastasic would be a mental idea, cause of his age and length of time he has been at the club he wouldn't take a space in our 21 man CL squad. We will need 4 CB's to challenge on all fronts we have Rekik, Kompany, MDM and Nastasic. If anyone leaves to make way I think it would be Rekik on loan and he will be MDM's replacement next season. I would value Nastasic at 25 odd mil, he is one of the best CB's in his age group, plenty of experience, huge potential, long term contract and we have no reason or desire to sell.
