This.

Very encouraging performance by Nastasic, did his job confidently on the whole but without having to face any 1v1 situations, pace, or top class movement.

Made 2 mistakes, one which allowed Nolan to score & another from which Carroll should have scored. Only to be expected from a young defender.

Could become a top player, very promising for his age but still totally unproven & playing him in any big game will be a gamble which may cost us.
im sure lescott makes mistakes too ? every player does, lescott did in the qpr game to which they scored, could of cost us the title, but yeah nastasic is young and still got alot to learn, but looks a top player.

Lescotts lack of legs is what makes him suffer. If he had Kolo's speed there'd be no problem.

I also agree strongly with your point. We won the title so an inquest wasn't needed but had we lost or drew the QPR game I strongly believe a Lescott witchhunt would have ensued, very fine margin. Not only us fans celebrated that Sergio goal put it that way.

Nasty is a great prospect. Joleon should get more game time but a replacement looks natural in Nasty. Ricards at RB and Clichy at LB is best for us.
I take it you mean the Kolo of a few years back.

Does anybody else what him to make a big mistake? Just to see how he will do after, Savic just crumbled but tbf he is shit

why would you want any city player to make a big mistake ever?

probably to see if he's got the mental strength that unfortunately savic didnt at the time, i think the difference betweeen nasty and savic is savic came straight to the prewmier league whereas nasty spent a year in italy first, i think savic will become a better defender in italy.

He's still rapid now but yeah a few years back he was immense. I think he's a half stone overweight but even still he is quicker than most our defenders. He should be utilised more too, not a fan of Clichy at RB when we have him knocking around.

The club that next signs Kolo will be in for a treat because he'll be cheap/free and will get into shape again for game time. Imo anyway.

He beat a much younger Jarvis for pace when he had to on Saturday

It looked like Jarvis was beating him for pace but couldn't get past Kolo's massive arse.

I think the long term central pairing will be Kompany and Nasty I think.
I'm not a big fan of Lescott, his positioning is often not good.

Towards the end, he was beating him for pace which is what I expected. Most of the match though, Kolo had his number and honestly I'm glad that he was smart enough to use his body positionally.
