I was one wanting to give Angelino a chance next season, but if he can be included in this deal to lower the price that would be fantastic. Maybe something like €45m+Angelino for de Ligt.
In January, PSV were told the serious bidding would start at 10 million for Angelino, since when he has arguably performed even better in the second half of the season. Think you're being a tad conservative in his valuation, which would actually see us having to pay even more for de Ligt. ;-)
Thiago has similar passing ability to Fernandinho (accuracy 91% vs. 90%) and performs similarly defensively when the ball's on the deck (2.2 tackles and 1.4 interceptions per game for Thiago vs. 1.8 and 1.4 for Fern) but falls way behind when winning the ball in the air (1.2 duels won per game vs. 2.8). We need someone to offer that aerial protection with the incredibly high line our CBs hold.
I'd agree on Lahm, but then I rate Lahm up there with Ronaldo and Messi of players of this generation.
You cannot compare the players as one of them is working as an 8 - and the other one is a 6. Martinez is the 6 at Bayern this season.

Played as RCB in a back 3 vs Portugal:I haven't studied him but he looks to me like he would easily do the half right back, half cb thing which Walker does.
So that effectively gives him three potential positions, as fullback, cb in a two & cb in a 3.
That should get him games, (provided he steps up to the mark).

Because I'm fed up of people casually disrespecting Fernandinho in various threads, using Pep's desire for a particular kind of player, as the reasoning for it, when Pep doesn't actually agree with them & will continue to post the video as it's actually higher quality than any video available of any fucker deemed better than him.

Yes I saw that game on video & he's actually appearing a fair bit in the kind of positions we see Walker in, so it shouldn't be such a huge ask, if he had to play the rb, mid, cb role.

Yes he is, but Frenkie is the one who was the MF that began playing CB as the season progressed since so many on here want CB’s to be DM’s and DM’s to be CB’s but he had a serious injury end his season early this season.Is De Ligt better than Frankie De Jong then?
