Matthijs de Ligt

Not even quite sure what you mean mate.

I’m saying we’ll need another CB next season when Vinnie moves on so why not just get him now if we can? If he’s the Mbappe of CB’s then he’ll tie the position down for a decade and then we’ll have a few years left with Nico and Stones/Laporte as well. We should be sorted for quite a long time.

If there's a young centre back we should be keeping an eye on it's Rice, looks very similar to Stones when he broke through at Everton. This guy can't even win a mickey mouse league but as usual we go for the fancy foreigner while Liverpool snap up the home grown version who turns out to be better.

Hmmm you'd have thought Liverpool won the Premier League by 19 points.

Hmmmm so who were the prior home grown players that was better that LivedLive snapped up?

I'm going to need names bro!!!

There is actually no guarantee the guy will be as good as his potential.

So it's not a simple decision whether to sign him or not.

Best left to the experts and even they can't judge kids accurately, they just have to weigh it up & make a best guess, then decide what they think it's worth to City.

Went a bit overboard with better, rather should have said cheaper and better in certain situations. Also shouldn't have singled out just Liverpool when Chelsea and Spurs have been signing/utilising good British players too.

Danilo as an example is a good player and I would have played him more than we did. But there's no way we got our money's worth from what we paid to how much he played. Robertson and Ben Davies at our rivals cost three times less and are starters, while in the end our own cheapo British purchase (Delph) nailed down the stating spot ahead of Danilo.

Bernardo is a nice player but would we have been less good if you swapped him out for Oxlade or Drinkwater who went for less, I'm not so sure. Might even have contributed more in the tough games against Liverpool with their English steel and grit.

Seems like a lot of our fans turn their nose up at the likes of Grealish but are excited by a youngster playing for Norwegian Herring Factory XI. Ferguson back in the day and now Liverpool show you can be successful with home grown men who the majority of football fans see as average.

Sterling, Delph, Stones and Walker.

Oxlade and Drinkwater arent good enough to lace Bernardo`s boots or Sane`s, Oxlade was floundering at Arsenal for years and Drinkwater no thanks

Signing for City would probably stall his development anyway. Better to let someone else sign him and bring him on. Then City could make a big bid for him if they like what they see. That's usually what happens

Sane and Jesus were young when we signed them, so if the talent is there we shouldn't be deterred by his age. The lad already has considerable and varied experience, and signing him before he turns 19 affects how he is considered in terms of foreign/home-grown, I believe.

Drinkwater is exactly what you should be doing, followed by a starchy meal and a good sleep. Put the bottle away.

We're turning noses up at £40m for a player who's never performed higher than the second tier, has had numerous disciplinary problems, and all in all is fucking AVERAGE.

What player are we all buzzing over that plays for Norwegian Herring XI, or any shit team??? Name 1, oh no you can't because that's some ridiculous made up bullshit.

Mahrez plays in the Premier League
Jorginho plays in Serie A
De Ligt plays in The Eredivisie
Grealish plays FIFA on his X-Box

ALSO WHAT SUCCESS HAVE LIVERPOOL HAD??????

(I think this lad might be a closeted scouser)
