Highlights him as a weakness for Kev and Walker to exploit and brands him slow. Sure enough he was right and Kev scored after HT.What did he say?

I'd much rather Alderwield than MaguireI think we will go for Maguire. TBH, I would be disappointed with him as whenever I have seen him play, he just hasn't impressed. Hope I am wrong though.

Alderwield is a good shout, very solid defender. Only negative for me would be dealing with Levy.I'd much rather Alderwield than Maguire

He’s 1 year younger than Otamendi. And with us already having centre backs of a young-to-mid age in Stones and Laporte, I think Alderweireld would be an excellent replacement for Nico’s rugged style and level of experience. But I can’t really see us going for him tbh, don’t know why.He does, starting this summer. 25m I think.
