Well, Juve had simply the best offer for him. Ambitious sporting project, playing time, big money (his net salary will be higher than for the same gross salary in other league), and a decent release clause. Neither PSG, City, nor Barça would have agreed to a 150 M€ release clause.

Best chance for him and Juve in the future, unless they cross the path of my club, in which case i hope they'll be annihilated.
 
I think he's signed for every single team he was linked with this summer EXCEPT us which should tell you all you need to know about our interest.

He was never coming to City with Raiola as his agent. I am sure Juve were happy to pay what he demanded. They are mugs like United who stumped up £41m to that gangster. De Ligt's football career will be ruined by Raiola but he'll make plenty of cash. City are well out of it.

And everyone was talking about tomorrow even before this latest news. I'll start cheering when I see him though, too scared to be scarred by this. I'm curious how much they ended up signing him for.

We certainly need to sell/let go of someone, but I don't think Cancelo is top of that list. As of right now, we don't need to sell him, but it looks like we want (wanted?) to.

100% sure they will. They need the money to fund/partially fund the Chiesa deal.

At the moment (including De Ligt and newly signed defender Demiral [the Turkish DeLigt], Pellegrini, De Sciglio, Bonucci, Rugani and Chiellini and Cancelo they are overstuffed with defenders and need to cash in.

All we need to do now is make the call..
 
Apparently United seriously thought they had a chance in getting him up until a few hours ago. De Ligt probably saw that squad and said to himself "how am I going to get any playing time ahead of Phil Jones, Smalling, Lindelof, and Baily?"
 
I'm not a huge fan of Juve, but I'm so much happier seeing him go there than PSG, or god forbid, United

Fiorentina's chairman doesn't want to let Chiesa go, thankfully. He's gonna cost a fortune and he's a horse of a player: young, fast and energetic but keeps his head down on the last 20 metres of his runs.
