May Council Elections

It's a tricky one. Labour support will getting close to a minimum at this point in a parliament, but they might still be the best bet depending on your ward. Main thing if you care, is just getting out and voting.

Reform are long long odds on favourites to smash everyone apart next month. Greens to come second.

Wonder how many on here will admit to voting for these horrible bastards.

The May local elections will be Reforms downfall, I think they'll get loads of seats and even run some councils.
This will then highlight how shit and incompetent they actually are, people will remember this, then come the general election, irrelevant.

The country’s best hope anyway.

I will be voting labour, council elections should not be voted on because of the national parties dickheadedness or the country leanings or mood parliament wise

They should be based on the character and personality of the person that represents you far more than what their politics are.

There may well be some change round here. Traditionally Tory and even the MP got back is as a Tory at the GE. He then defacated to Reform. I suspect the council may well become LibDem as the trust in Tories is in the gutter after Kruger defacated(sic).

Defacated is entirely the right word too.

May I’m voting Labour

The Palestinian genocide means I can’t vote Labour or Conservatives in a GE to many MPs accept money from FOI. I believe it influenced their decision to ban our own constituents for protesting the bombing of Gaza.

In the council elections I’m voting Labour our candidate isn’t on the lobby list for FOI and she signed the letter addressing the abhorrent situation in Gaza to the house.
Plenty of affordable housing going up in and around the town private and rent, that’s jobs and somewhere decent for people to live.

I’m voting Lib Dem’s or Green in the GE………….absolutely no chance I vote for the racist Farage in a GE or Conservative as Badenoch aims to target people on benefits, division politics

Reform won’t win as many as been reported think/hope people have woken up to them! But there isn’t much choice out there

been saying this for ages - their support is amongst those unlikely to vote and any reach they were getting is diminished by Farages tantrums every time he is questioned and all the nut jobs that get suspended or kicked out for being very cunty - that doesn't appeal broadly to the British.

I am a Labour voter but as in many views on here I will vote LD in locals because our councillor works tirelessly in the area all year round. As she also works full time has a child and a disabled husband I can't doubt her commitment to the community. Reform have an 18 year old numpty standing who's only comments seem to be about nonexistent boats that are not arriving and vape shops - photos of him show him vaping .............

skin as thin as wet loo roll to prove my point about his short temper

farage really all I can say is
