Why don't football agents insist that their clients have 24 hour surveillance ? Surely they could be stepping in at every opportunity to ask girls if they are OK, need help, feel pressured, etc.

I know it wouldn't be possible to be present 100% of the time but it would be a decent effort to protect both parties.

It's almost like a duty of care to the player and society in general.
 
To add something that I think the English version missed (or I missed when reading), the Aftonbladet article stated that the police were notified after the woman had sought medical attention on Saturday. If there is evidence of harm I would say it makes the accusations stronger.
