Mbappe ankle injury

Seen a lot worse both in terms of the tackle and the injury. I’m no doctor but there seemed to be a bend in both directions, a fracture or a break and usually means it bends one way and doesn’t go back. I reckon some ligament damage if he’s really unlucky, a swollen ankle if he’s lucky.

Hope he's OK. However much we might dislike players for one reason or other, when there's a genuine superstar coming through, if you enjoy the game you want to see them reach their pinnacle.

I had the same thoughts although the close-up view doesn't give the best perspective. Does Mbappe have the ball under control?
