McCarthy Sacked - Wolves

Sad.

He's done brilliantly for them with next to fook all resources and because of that deserved the opportunity to see the season out.On a personal note, his post match interview style will also be missed.

I've not forgot their shit fans booing several games back,McCarthy is better than that club and will prove it elsewhere.

Shit. We still have Wolves to play away don't we? You just know we'll run into them on their new managers "honeymoon period" just like fucking Sunderland.

But with regards to Mick - I quite liked him and he's done a decent job there, but it seems the team are going through a really tough patch at the worst possible time - The final third of the season.

Edit: I was a bit tired before and didn't read it properly. Curbishly hasn't replaced McCarthy. As most did I liked Mick, but I reckon Curbishely would be an improvement. IMO he is a Curbishely is an good manager and I'm not sure why he stayed out of the game for so long.

I never really understand why fans get so irate at clubs like Wolves.

Mick came and they won the Championship title, then avoided relegation for two years. A difficult task that many clubs do not manage.

He hasn't been given a lot of money, yet the fans berate him now. I don't follow Wolves enough to see if he is making repeated tactical blunders but, what I fail to understand is what fans expect from a club like Wolves.

Without serious investment they will always battle relegation, with the odd good or bad season.

I thought they played some good stuff under him at times over the past few seasons... sorry to see him get chopped, and can't see how Bruce is going to improve things.

(good guy, takes no shit, and was sterling when he played for us too)

I like him and enjoy his post match interviews but it's easy for us all to like him when he doesn't manage our team. Has he really spent less than clubs like Swansea, Norwich, Everton, Fulham or WBA or even the bigger teams like Newcastle or Villa? I suspect Wolves net spend since being in the PL is more than at least halve of the other teams and the results aren't good enough.

I suspect the Wolves fans and owners are also looking at the likes of Swansea and wondering why they are stuck where they are playing shite football.
