Caution: Frank Dark Days Memory.

End of season 97ish. Barnsley 2-2 City, testimonial for ex Blue Fleming.
Buster KERCHING Phillips scored one, not sure on other. Mick McCarthy slid in on Jim Whitley at some point, made for an interesting argument.

Dark days indeed.
I thought this game was as low as our club could get, how wrong was I.
I remember leaving the ground in a daze. Couldn't be arsed hanging around with the mini demonstration outside the Main Stand, just wanted to get home.
Kids these days don't know their born ;-)

In the North Stand at Maine Road after the Goat chipped Barthez to make it 3-1 and going mental, then at full time the thunderous chants of "shit!" as the rags kept chanting "United, United, United".

Low point was May last year slumping into my seat seconds after Crouch put Spurs 1 up and thinking it's never gonna happen for this club, how wrong was I!.

1965...Standing on the deserted scoreboard end at Maine Road, in a crowd of 8015, watching City get beat 2-1 by Mike Summerbee's Swindon Town.

here are a few of my city memoirs

Winning the first ever match I went to. 3-0. I wasn't a fan before and I was there because a friend dragged me along. Sometimes I wonder what might have happened had City lost 3-0 instead.

Beating Burnley 7-0 at Maine Rd in 68.

It's the biggest top flight City win I've seen.
God i was there that day with my dad and his mate they sat me on a barrier before kick off and picked me back up at full time, where's my life gone.

Little bits i can picture in my head from my first 2-3 seasons at Maine Road as a kid:

The Spurs 5-2 game, brilliant.

Everton 4-0.

Wimbledon night game, cant remember the score, rosler on fire and about 16 wimbledon fans on show!

Ipswich 2-1, Rocastle's 360 spin on the right-wing for Carl Griffiths to finish (i think it was him).
