Great song, but historically incorrect.
City were relegated to Division Two in 1963 , and were in that division for 3 seasons, gaining promotion to the First Division in 1966.

season 62-63 season relegated no mention of 66 just Joe mercer came, anyway we sang 62 coz it rhymed better
