We need an anthem. Obviously keep Blue Moon, but we only sing a couple of lines if it. It is not exactly intimating, is it.
I suggest Climb Every Mountain lyrics as follows:
Climb every mountain
Forge ever stream
Follow every rainbow till you find your dream.
A dream that will need all the love you can give
Every day of your life
For as long as you live.

Then repeat the first three lines.
We need the whole ground singing it.

Don't shoot me down guys.

Just watching the Ipswich v Liverpool game now. Loads of Liverpool songs have the word ‘Liverpool’ in them.

Could do with more new ‘Manchester’, ‘City’, ‘Manchester City’ ‘Man City’ songs us.

Yeh! We can get Julie Andrews to record it along with the blazing crew singing backing vocals
 
We should have adopted that Oasis song about Sally not waiting in front of a fireplace......

Good job it’s not on the right hand side, he was pretty rubbish that side;)
 
Every season we sung this song, we changed the destination (until last season):

‘Bernardooo (Silva)
Running down the wing (Silva)
Makes the Blue Boys sing (Silva)
We’re all…….’

- and in the first year we made it up we sang ‘going to Madrid’ (https://www.fanchants.com/football-songs/manchester_city-chants/manc1984-2/)

- the season after we sang ‘going Istanbul’ (although the final ended up in Lisbon due to Covid and nobody went)
- the season after we weren’t there through the season so didn’t sing the song despite us actually going to Porto
- the season after we sang ‘going to Munich’, then it changed to St Petersburg so we sang ‘going to Russia’ (although the final ended up in Paris)
- the season after we sang ‘going Istanbul’

- but then last season - despite the final being at Wembley and loads of people trying to get ‘going to Wembley’ going every time the chant was sung - the majority were still incorrectly singing ‘going Istanbul’.

- this season the final is in Munich, so we should be singing ‘going to Munich’.
