Has she been signed to replace the stupid woman who posted a pic on Twitter wearing a rag shirt In our changing room!
Where has that thread gone?

That thread was pulled and somebody got a week's ban for their trouble. Let me repost something PB and I put in the last thread that asked where it went.

You do realise that she'd come straight from work and those are her work clothes? She works for the rags' equivalent of CITC and does some great work in Trafford Schools, mainly Broadoak and its feeder primaries. Anyone who does community work has my respect. And she's a Coventry City fan actually.

Took me about 2 minutes to find all that out but most just jumped to the assumption that she was a rag taking the piss. Some of the comments in that thread were disgraceful.

This person is referring to a member of the Women's team who somehow deserved to be called "a slag" amongst other things because she also happened to work at the United community football program and somebody took a picture.

This is what happens when you have a bunch of people who don't understand grassroots football and how it it works with all of the staff working wherever they can to improve their game and outreach.

I'm locking this topic because if I don't I'm going to start banning every **** who decides that women footballers are objects that they can own or people who we as a forum should instigate a bullying campaign over as they were snapped using a Manchester United badge.

I'm not even kidding with describing how little patience we have over this issue.

MCFC Women exist and they aren't there for your masturbational pleasure. They are a legitimate member of the City family who deserve the same respect as anybody else, and I'll be fucked if I see you guys reduce an extremely promising women team to a bunch of playboy models.

You can also take a warning for that "stupid woman" remark, just to help understand that this is something that we're actually bothered about.

This woman posted a pic on twitter of her wearing a United top? What did she expect the reaction to be to that amongst City fans? If a male City player did that there'd be absolute carnage.

Did you read what PB wrote?

She works for United. She's a Coventry fan.

She probably didn't expect any reaction from City fans because the idea that she cannot play for City Women and also work for United's community programs to teach kids football is so childish that it probably never occurred to her.

Do blues have a problem that one of our own is taking money from the rags?

Seriously?

Bearing in mind that there are a lot of fans who will not even allow anything red to enter their house, I'd say yes there are quite a few who aren't happy about it.

That said, it is rather a case of "get over it, move on" here.

Heck, it isn't even Izzy who did this. This thread is getting completely sidetracked.

Behave, no-one gives a shit who she works for. It's the fact that a Manchester City player felt it was appropriate to post a picture of herself wearing a United top that's the issue. I'm surprised that people are surprised that this would provoke a reaction.

There are some extremely sad bastards in our fanbase.

It's a fucking top that she happened to be wearing when the picture was taken, tweeted by a friend of hers, not some massive planned conspiracy to denigrate and disrespect City.

My word, this place is absolutely embarrassing at times.

A guy i know won't allow his kids to say the word red in any context. They have to spell it out instead, like "pass the r-e-d sauce please dad"
