Yeah, I agree that while it's pie in the sky to expect them to do this for free, their fees are excessive when you take everything into account. However, with regards to fans not making their money back it at least gives some of those fans who couldn't shift tickets on before this season a chance to get something back compared to past seasons when they wouldn't get anything. That obviously doesn't apply to all fans - many of us can find someone to take a ticket off our hands but judging by the amount of empty seats at some sold out games last season, that isn't the case for everyone.
The problem here is not people with season ticket seats but City giving non season ticket seats away to viagogo every game for "sold out" games
As someone has already stated, the club's agreement with viagogo means that in all probability they have to make a small number of tickets available to them to sell on, regardless of whether it's a sold out game or not. We're not the only club that uses a ticket agency to sell tickets on. What appears to have got so many people's backs up is that these tickets appeared on viagogo after the club announced that the match was a sell out and I can understand the frustration with that.
However, I think what is more unpalatable is the mcfcticketX Twitter account being pulled as I don't see how that is any different to City fans offering their tickets to other fans on this or any other forum.
