Set the page up without the term 'MCFC' in the twitter name, then the club can't touch you.

Everything is through private sales, via face value. Therefore not illegal and done in the correct manner.

The club can't touch you, if they delete it, make another one. They have no case to answer for at all in this, just make another.

Bar the fact that tickets are non-transferable

If tikets are non-transferable then why do City provide people with the ability to "upgrade" a childs ticket to an adult one? Surely that's transferring the ticket from one owner to another?

I don't think Viagogo and their pathetic business plan is the problem here. The problem is simply the club announcing that a game is sold out and then passing tickets on to Viagogo to sell to Blue members above face value. Quite disgusting really.

Not in any way defending the club here but isn't the £51.00 ticket price (excluding extra fees of course) for the Tottenham tickets in that stand face value for that match? And even if it's not, I thought seasoncard holders were allowed to sell their tickets for up to 150% face value through viagogo?

yh, but when ViaGoGo stick their fees on both ends you have to lose money to let it equate to face value and if you want to make your money back you have to charge over face value.

Essentially the only people making money are viagogo, the fans get sod all, it is absolutely against letting the fans make their money back/profit.

mcfc and touting sites #together in ripping off blues. When we got taken over a rag said to me "it'll all end in tears" he may be right with some of the shit that I've heard of our club recently

I think you're overreacting mate. It's not a particularly savoury episode, but I'd hardly go as far as that. Clubs that have a good reputation for looking after their fans can make mistakes - look at the way Norwich treated that fan at the back end of last season for daring to leak details of their new kit.

As for United fans lecturing us on the morality of how clubs are run and how much they take the piss out of fans, don't get me started.

Yeah, I agree that while it's pie in the sky to expect them to do this for free, their fees are excessive when you take everything into account. However, with regards to fans not making their money back it at least gives some of those fans who couldn't shift tickets on before this season a chance to get something back compared to past seasons when they wouldn't get anything. That obviously doesn't apply to all fans - many of us can find someone to take a ticket off our hands but judging by the amount of empty seats at some sold out games last season, that isn't the case for everyone.

The problem here is not people with season ticket seats but City giving non season ticket seats away to viagogo every game for "sold out" games

Would it be different if city had given their contractually obligated seats to Viagogo before they had announced that the game was sold out for people wanting to buy direct from the club?
