Yeah im there on Sunday - starting at 7.30am. Really looking forward to it as its quite a nice ride - not like the Torelli Pennine Challenge!!

I am doing the ride for the first time setting off at 8:00 on my vintage 1996 Raleigh. Hopefully me and the bike will both make it :)

yep,third year running for me,start time 7-15 from that shithole. the hardest part is when you hit the seafront about 5 miles out..its like riding into a wind tunnel for 30 mins but its a great day. doing it for willow wood hospice on a mountain bike with road tyres and clip-in pedals so im a bit worried about how crowded it can be in some parts...got no family or picnic waiting in blackpool,make of that what you will. will be wearing a yellow cycling top if any blues want to say hello..
I'm not doing it as I don't own a bike anymore after a fair few accidents on my last one. However, my Dad is doing it and for some daft reason is also cycling back home from Blackpool. I think he's going through some kind of mid-life crisis.

The ride ends in a park. At the rear of the park is a road with a bridge on it and just off there are some nice residential streets where you can park with no restrictions.

Never done the bike but did the run a few times, a 10 stage relay for club runners .............anyone?
