Really sorry for you, I lost my mum in 2000 so I know. The next few days will be really busy organising things and you won't really have too much time to stop and think about everything. Be prepared though because I though I was managing ok till the funeral and then the loss was really understood, it hit me hard but I'd been so busy getting everything sorted and organising the funeral etc I'd not let it sink in. Time is a great thing though and over time it gets more manageable. Just take care of yourself and give yourself time to grieve.

Many thanks Bob

Thank you everyone

Sorry for your loss mate.

Just spent the afternoon with my 76 year old Mum and this puts things in perspective that she isn't going to be around forever. Think I'll take her round some flowers tomorrow.

deepest condolences mate. Worst thing imaginable. Lost my mam suddenly in November (massive stroke), I've still not grieved properly, trying to keep me old man together who's really struggling.

RIP

Sorry to hear that mate, mine passed away in 2008 and would have been her birthday tomorrow

really sorry to hear , seemed she raised a caring and loving son for which she would be proud of. be strong.

Really sorry to hear that news.

I haven't been on the other site for a while but I'm sure all the lads on there have showed their respects as they have on here.

My own mother passed away just before Christmas and I know what your going through.

All the best mate.

Devastated for you pal,i lost my mam aswell back in august, night before the charity shield, its a massive blow to deal with and i cant lie it hasnt got any easier yet,be strong bud, thoughts withyou and your familly ,god bless your dear mam.xx

I lost my mum back in 2004 , and there isn't a day goes by when i don't think back to the cosy chats we had over 'cuppas' at her house ...... she used to look forward to me coming so much.

All you can really do is accept the fact that she's gone , and remember the good times ..... time does heal most of the pain , but you never forget her.
