Also like to thank everyone for their warm words of condolences, they have all been such a comfort at this difficult time, they are all so heartfelt and i am beginning to draw strength from all the messages within this thread and from those inboxed to me.

I must now try to consume food to keep strong tho the very thought itself is a tad laborious to say the least.

Once again ...thank you all for your support.

Deepest sympathies blue.

My eldest boys lost their grandad this week (ex wifes old man) and to say they are devastated would be an understatement. My eldest found him unconscious on the toilet and tried to give him cpr for 10 mins whilst waiting for the ambulance to arrive but sadly it was to no avail.

Life is very short and we should make the most of it and let those close to us know how much they mean every single day.

R.I.P the op's mam and R.I.P Colin, thanks for everything you did for my boys, i know how much you loved them and i know how much they loved you.
R.I.P to Colin
My thoughts n' condolences to you and your lads families

Condolences, mate.
It may seem like a cliche, but time is a great healer.
We were unfortunate to lose my Mam, Dad, Gran and my wife's Father, in the space of 4 years ( my Dad being the last to go, last year), the only thing you can do is remember the best of your lost one.

Take care of yourself and your nearest and dearest, Blue.
