Media bias against City

Ignore the 'media' then. It is like the person who listens to Talk Shite and gets would up taking it seriously.

Papers were for when you couldn't see a game and had to read about it, now you can just watch it for yourself and never need to read another paper about football as they are just tittle tattle and some southerner's opinion on northern teams.
You miss the point completely.
A city fan not reading the papers or listening to TS isn't going to change what's being said and written about us.
The negative slant will still be there, keeping the old guards supporters happy with stories of how City are all what's wrong with the game and taking the piss on a daily basis.
Why the fuck should our club be treated so shabbily and misconceptions be put out there to the hard of thinking who take what's said as gospel?

In reading, watching ad listening you condone it.

Like a fool paying £70 a month for Sky and complaining.

Is there any actual publications, web sites or TV programmes that are unbiased in regards to football news that you lot use on a regular basis?

On TV try Sky Bet where the real odds appear which somehow contradict skewed opinions.
On Talksport remember Mr Brazil put his money on City for the title last year despite talking pro United.
Newspapers try Racing Post or any newspaper that has a betting section.

In other words where clients money is concerned, any media has to preserve its unbiased opinions reserving its doctored headlines and biased newspaper articles for its all too eager non City readership who don't want the truth just a reflection of its main buyers hopes and dreams.

Everyone is naturally biased one way or the other, impossible not to be. The front page on here has Roma and Vietnam games but no Real Madrid for example.

The press have never been impartial so no point complaining about it.
Ermmmmm I can see an ever so slightly small flaw in your assessment

This is a fucking Manchester City forum, the others are not

So the Real Madrid game didn't happen because we lost? Even the official site doesn't hide losses that way.

Failed footballer no. But played at the very top for many years????

Having read this again, it's a clarkie isn't it.
I did contemplate taking the word "very" out after I'd posted it, but couldn't be arsed, but notwithstanding that, yes I'd say he had a career that most people who are good enough to play professionally can only dream of, never mind those that aren't, like you and me.

More Premier League appearances than Michael Owen, Graeme Le Saux, Gary McAllister, Paul Ince and Lee Dixon.

So no, it's not a Clarkie. I'd love to have had the football career he had - and I suspect that goes for much of this board.
