Media bias against City

I think the biggest thing the anti-agenda people misunderstand is that we're not talking about them meeting in black cloaks around a big table under a full moon to discuss ways to bad-mouth us. We're talking about a clear agenda, whether discussed or just independently reached, to carpet over anything that goes against the established money spinners and to slander & ultimately knock the people upsetting the status-quo

A very obvious example is if you go to the BBC's page of united you will be very, very hard pressed to find mention of their loss to PSG, in fact at a glance it seems the last match they played was their win against a weakened Barcelona but on city's page is the headline 'Blue moon falling'.
This is an organisation that is funded by the public & subsidised and we look to to be the place for unbiased news, a view backed up by their history of staying on the fence. So much so that they even briefed their staff to not call the people who shot the french magazine writers 'terrorists'. And yet still manage to have a sly dig at City whenever they can.
The less said about Sky & Talksport the better as we all know those bastards have a clear agenda

you are wasting your time. there is no agenda. just a bunch of paranoid blues getting all hett up about a few coincidences.

Some of the wording used is deliberately inflammatory. The Mail's use of 'obsession' regarding our pursuit of Guardiola is a perfect example. I'm sure if the Rags, or Liverpool, were trying to snare a guy who is regarded as one of the best club managers in the world, from one of the world's biggest clubs, it would be being reported with a shite load of hyperbole.

Never saw that quoted with their annual pursuit of Sneijder, Tranny and Bale.

Just what you want to read on the eve of a new season - continued negativity in the press risks becoming a self fulfilling prophecy. All the media outlets are desperate for the City 'project' to fail so they can rub their metaphorical hands together with glee whilst saying I told you so

To be fair, there's not been a lot of positives pre-season. So far the performances have been shit to average and unless we land a couple of quality signings the squad isn't any better.
