After reading the article I think he's a chav. It's narrative is similar to the tripe that was written after the first couple of years of the takeover, what happens when the Sheik gets bored/bankrupt etc. know your place in the pecking order. Nursie will be giving him his meds about now.

Are these people so called journo's, if so it's now 7 yrs since the Sheikh Mansour took over, you'd think they might do a little research before writing such garbbage. Jealousy and envy, are they not 2 of the deadly sins. Oh yes and bitter cunts, they must cry themselves to sleep every night, i can feel their pain, fuckin lovin it.

I've had to stop reading these stories like these for the sake of my health. A few good barbs from my friends over chat or text was good banter, but I've told them to completely stop with the "ownership/money" ssue. Enough is enough.

That Forbes piece of crap is the worst I've seen in a long time. A disgusting racist and defamatory vomit of bile polluting the Internet. The fact is from Forbes is utterly depressing

Odd coincidence that an American magazine has nothing to say about American owners whose business acumen has their own commercial enterprises on the skids at home and who are busily supporting themselves by leeching huge sums out of English football.
Will they get bored and ride off into the setting sun, like the cowboys that they are ?
Like I say - must be just coincidence and not at all xenophobia and downright racism.

He's Irish so likelihood is he's a rag or dipper. My guess is the latter.

This is him I reckon. https://www.linkedin.com/pub/andrew-brennan/77/809/749

Reading that resumé, he's essentially a bouncer/concierge who fancies himself as a pseudo-intellectual but can't get a job as a writer. I wonder why?

Haha, well found....good investigative journalism, that!

This tosser can't even manage to put apostrophes in yet fancies himself as a writer...

My favourite bit has to be this:-

If you can buy all the star players, why would you bother investing in their development? Would City ever produce a Wayne Rooney? No is the answer. This is the influence of individuals who bring artificial and unnatural capital to leagues that otherwise rely on steadfast ticket sales through loyal fans.

What a glorious career Wayne has had playing all these years for Everton, paid a relative pittance through the steadfast ticket sales of their loyal fans. Not for him the bright lights of Trafford and sponsors' gold.

The article is actually very, very funny. It is meant to be a piss take isn't it?
