Media bias against City

On TV try Sky Bet where the real odds appear which somehow contradict skewed opinions.
On Talksport remember Mr Brazil put his money on City for the title last year despite talking pro United.
Newspapers try Racing Post or any newspaper that has a betting section.

In other words where clients money is concerned, any media has to preserve its unbiased opinions reserving its doctored headlines and biased newspaper articles for its all too eager non City readership who don't want the truth just a reflection of its main buyers hopes and dreams.

Thank you for the reply :)

Have you read the report on the Stuttgart game on the BBC.... Disregard the fact that we were bad, just look at the way the article is structured... And the fact that United's recent friendly defeat wasn't even reported.
The BBC, public funded with a duty of balance in the charter is the worst of the lot...

well everybody its now August. so soon we'll have the "draw" for the champions league. I was wondering as there is no agenda how the draw will work out. how will the "media bias" affect our chances. I wonder what teams the media bias will have us play, I wonder what dates the media bias will come up with depending on who our premiers league opponents are. I wonder if the media bias will fix ticket prices for the blues who travel to the games. I am dying to see the group the media bias picks for our local rivals. yeh, a right twat that media bias.

Booked your flights to Munich yet?

Omg i literally came straight here after seeing that report on bbc.... what the hell afe they doing on bbc. Its like theyve said fuck kt this year lets just be biased as fuck before the season starts
..... shocking report of our loss. Quite funny really lol

Mike summerbee told it how it was at the derby a year before the sick swan.
He exposed sky for what they are, rag cock sucking sympathisers with red tinted glasses.
He dared to question the fact that two teams played on the same pitch .
Then he said we'd come back next season and wipe the floor with utd.
He got accused of being drunk on air and got ridiculed from everybody.
He was right.
And he's never been invited back .
Shithouses.

Is it the one by Shamoon Hafez? If so, his twitter is very pro rag. Plus he's a funny fucker and comes out with this little gem

Yep proper rag fucker, bet he was pissing himself as he wrote this shit

Yeah, that's the one. Had a pop at him & @BBCSport on twitter for lazy journalism, incorrect facts and being biased. Managed to refrain from swearing but as I dare say neither will take any notice, I wish I had!

Shamoon Hafez - 'digital journalist' - sums it up perfect.

Produces a quality clickbait article slagging of City and it gets front page on BBC website. It's the sort of crap you'd see on a blog.

At 6pm on Sky Sports News, their headline was "a full strength Manchester City team were 4-0 down at half time". That follows on from "after their 4-1 thrashing by Real Madrid, Manchester City beat Vietnam". Now city were poor today, but really, this is appallingly skewed journalism.

I can just about deal with the blatant media bias its when city fans regurgitate verbatim the sh*t they have read that does my head in.

I think the biggest thing the anti-agenda people misunderstand is that we're not talking about them meeting in black cloaks around a big table under a full moon to discuss ways to bad-mouth us. We're talking about a clear agenda, whether discussed or just independently reached, to carpet over anything that goes against the established money spinners and to slander & ultimately knock the people upsetting the status-quo

A very obvious example is if you go to the BBC's page of united you will be very, very hard pressed to find mention of their loss to PSG, in fact at a glance it seems the last match they played was their win against a weakened Barcelona but on city's page is the headline 'Blue moon falling'.
This is an organisation that is funded by the public & subsidised and we look to to be the place for unbiased news, a view backed up by their history of staying on the fence. So much so that they even briefed their staff to not call the people who shot the french magazine writers 'terrorists'. And yet still manage to have a sly dig at City whenever they can.
The less said about Sky & Talksport the better as we all know those bastards have a clear agenda

How does such a blatant rag get chosen by the BBC to write an article on us? I've never made a complaint before, but I'm really finding it hard not to in this instance. It boggles the mind.

Unbelievable from the BBC to publish this article. It's just a typical blog article from a rag fan. He's grabbed a picture of Joe Hart on the floor, one of the coaching staff looking glum, a few tweets from rag fans, and added about 20 words, if that, about the game. It's amazing the BBC even published it!

Well, the Guardian won't be putting pressure on City this season at least

Guardian writers’ predicted position: 4th (NB: this is not necessarily Paul Wilson’s prediction but the average of our writers’ tips)

If that's true about the average, some of their writers must see us finishing outside the top 4...
