Media bias against City

I really do believe there is a media bias against us, but that is mostly based on a few normal human factors.

1. 80% of all fans follow a top bracket of elite clubs, and us coming in, poaching talents, giving them a hard time in the transfer market, driving up prices, and challenging for tittles, has united those types of fans in having a common enemy.

2. Since the media has their income based on views and clicks, they will feed the pebble, and if they don't do it, some other newspaper will.

What i have found out, and pointed out a few times, is that i think Goal.com is doing a very good job, both with information of our dealings in the transfer market, but also about what is going on behind the scenes in the club.

In just the last few days, i have found some very optimistic, and objective pieces about the club, which is a breath of fresh air, cause they are so few and far between.

Improving Pellegrini deserves Credit

Sterling was right to ditch Liverpool... now he must show he's a £49m man

Brilliance from De Bruyne but frustration for Aguero.

Have Manchester City finally made a Champions League breakthrough?

Remember it well fat arse king kenny destroying us once again but i'm a sad arse statto and that was deffo a Satday game not midweek though.

I'm old and memories get confused. I'm sure we played a night game where we got as we say trounced.
Anyway whatever, i remember we didn't play as bad as the result suggests. Just that they were clinical
and so fast with the ball.

Sky don't control F365 anymore( since earlier this year). They've generally been fair to City in the many years I've been reading it. Much bigger snakes out there.

I'd agree with that. f365 does take the piss out of us, but they take the piss out of everyone.

BBC North West managed to dig up 6 dipper goals and just 2 for us in their preview of tomorrow's game. Back to King Kenny for the footage. Desperate stuff from BBC Sport - aka the Toxteth Taproom.

I was laughing and pointing at the telly thought it was funny as fuck and just proves they have loads of istoty from the 70's and 80's.

They couldn't show stuff from our heyday as TV coverage was shit then and so were the dippers.

Did anyone see Phil Thompson's combined City/liverpool eleven on sky. Apparently Clyne is better than Sagna,Skrytel is better than Kompany, Coutinho is better than De Bruyne or Silva and the best is Milner ahead of Navas. Deluded is a word of choice on football expert Big nose Phil's selection.
I think he has significant mental health issues.

Heard David White on 5live this morning. First question: let's talk about Jurgen Klopp, he's never lost to Manchester City has he?

*shakes head and switches off*

Will stay away from the media for a few days. TBF Klopp deserves all the attention. He's been sensational so far and today he made us look like a mid table side.

Agreed.

But it will be all about guardiola and pellets being given the boot as well.

Funny his team got beat at gone against palace thing with Liverpool they always up for playing city and Chelsea

The solution to getting better media coverage dawned on me several moments ago when I binned the unopened ToryGraph sports section. Harry scores two out of four, and he gets better coverage than Sergio scoring 5! Let's call every one of our players 'Harry'! There's a long line of cockerney gits that the media have just lapped up - Harry Cripps, Harry RedCrapp, Harry KwangChaiKane. As far as I can recall we haven't had a 'Harry' since Harry Dowd. Harry Hart in goal (sounds better already!), Harblo Zabaleta and shorten Baccers from Zachary to Hary Sagna, Harrent Kompany, Haros Otamendi, Harrex Kolarov , Harray Toure, Harus Navas, Hareem Sterling (prodigal cockney)! If that doesn't bring the RagDipperCockerneyMeedya drooling, whatever level of excrement is deposited on the field, nothing will!

So you're realising our recent time media coverage is based more on the Ethnicity/Nationality/Religion of our Owners and Players.

Change:
Our owner: Reverend. Jake ManShawe
Top Player: Steven Augustine

And the media would be wanking over us....

Fact is our owners are Based in UAE and Muslim, and the corporate west hate the reliance they have had on this region for a long time.

If Harry Kane converted to Islam tomorrow he'd be chewed up and spat out by the gutterpress.

This might be worth a try. Think I'll send 'Arry some 'literature'?

Anyone remember the last side who shat themselves coming out of the tunnel when they looked across at the star-spangled team? I always feel that every team puts in that little bit extra and their goalie's GotS is about to be witnessed.
