Media bias against City

Some prick in tonight's MEN (can't be arsed trying to spell his name)has done a rather bitter 'piece' in the City section (lol)about how we haven't improved in the CL but merely thrown money at the problem ..leaving himself wide open for the obvious reply......where do they get these fuckin wankers from?
I read it last night., It was Simon Bajkowski. I negative and bitter buffoon.
On a lighter note, Rod Stewart was just on Danny Baker's show and said he loved watching us play. Always liked the guy...

Why mention City at all? A reasonable article dealing with a family tragedy that barely mentions City has been hacked around by the sub-editor to be a poor article with an emphasis on City that just shouldn't be there.

A new low in the Telegraph. A tragic death of an 11 year old kid playing with his younger brother. The lad just so happened to have started at the academy and the emphasis on City in the first couple of paragraphs is just wrong. How about some sympathy for the family? RIP Aaron. My heart goes out to your family. Vicky Kloss really should have a.word about that one.

What is wrong is that they say that Monsall is in Salford.

Now, as this thread relates to a media bias against City, how does your appraisal of the article fit in with that. Is the article anti City in any way.

Just wondering like as I can't see it myself

What are you on about?
The article mentions City because City were a huge part if the misfortune's tragically truncated life.
Arguably, if it hadn't mentioned City at all, then you may have had an argument - albeit, very much a greatly peripheral one with regard to what is a distressing tale that far transcends football.
You suggest it's a new low for the Telegraph? Frankly, your paranoia is a new low for this thread.
There is a bias against City, for all sorts of reasons. This article is in no way, shape or form evidence of same.

Jamie Jackson's write up of our game against MBG in the Guardian was incredible. It literally didn't mention any of our goals in the second half.

The story is simply giving the human element. This happens in all stories when there is a tragic event. How often do you here the mum/partner say about someone, who has sadly passed away, they were loveable, life and soul of the party, kind, wonderful father/mother etc. It sounds like football and City gave this kid a great amount of enjoy and for me it is nice to read about.

Seriously looking into an agenda in everything is not healthy

Aye, it was truly bizarre. The game apparently stopped after about 70 minutes as Jackson couldn't bring himself to remember us actually winning the game.

Thinking about it, he was probably too busy to finish it because he was celebrating then desparing as his beloved reds were going thorugh and then crashing out in the space of a couple of miuntes. He's a shite journalist, even his stuff about United is written badly.

This isn't so much against City, more biased towards the rags but page 2 of the Observer (wrapped inbetween their article on how we poach United's youngsters) there's a graphic on their form since the defeat at Arsenal on 4th October in which it says they haven't lost once, labelling the Middlebrough defeat as a draw and completely ignoring their midweek defeat to Wolfsburg.

Another thing I've noticed here is they've failed to score six times in thirteen games and only scored more than once four times (if you include the Wolfsburg game, which clearly the Observer don't want us to!). They really are dull as dishwater.

From the unbiased BBC. .....

Chelsea substitute Loic Remy pulled one back but the home side survived in relative comfort to move back ahead of Manchester City at the top of the table.

Probably just a mistake that they went above us and not arsenal

Bbc sports website headlines about CL XI and no Messi, Neymar or Suarez, you need to read to the bottom to find that Sterling and Willian are in there! Surely the headline from y he BRITISH broadcasting corporation should be about England star sterling being selected. If the granny shagger or the next next next next next next Ronaldo had made the team that would be the main headline without a doubt....

Which infers the BBC thought we were top of the table before last nights result and above Arsenal. Some bias.

Where do I sign the petition?

No petition I'm afraid but you do qualify for some shiny new blinkers.

The unbiased BBC is known and viewed worldwide as a bastion of truth.
If you can't see how this could be used for and/or against any particular club/group then you carry on squire.

Nothing to see here.....I've got my blinkers on ...!!!!

Much as I enjoy squabbling with Frank on this thread, if you consider that gigantic pile of nothingness to constitute evidence, I pray you never represent me in Court.......
