Clearly, throwing things at disabled fans is despicable. But how come united site disabled fans in front of away fans. PL rules are for the away fan section to extend to the front. Perhaps the away fans were aiming at Fellaini, which would be justifiable.

Lets start at the begining. How come United are in contravention of the agreement regarding the number of disabled fans that are allowed in the stadium. Them and the dippers fail year after year to have the required number of 'seats' for disabled supporters, despite the Rags being the biggest ground outside Wembley and the Dips building a new satnd which could have incorporated disabled fans. If you dont believe it, google it, the Daily Telegraph have run a long campaign and consistently highlighted the 2 clubs.

Further to the posts re netting to protect disabled fans at the Rags. Anyone that has been to a Euro away knows how shit it is to watch a match through netting. It seems slightly suspicous to me that the disabled fans want netting put up in front of the away fans, so blocking their view. As stated earlier, I have on quite a few occassions taken a disabled fan to United and NEVER encountered any problem with away fans throwing coins or anything. I have spoken to the lads support workers who usually take him, they to have NEVER had a problem. I again call bullshit.

Remember when we witnessed a miracle in the disabled end at Old Trafford. Sergio scores to give us a 2-1 lead and half the rags in wheelchairs jumped up to give us the Vs.
Gonna have a look back at footage of that goal mate..i was there..if it was the time he' serged' past phil the face to slam the winner?

I might be wrong but I thought that the Rags capacity had come down by 2000 due to there being a few hundred more Disabled Seats and Wheel Chair places, which came into effect this season ?
Hate sticking up for the fucks, but as a disabled person myself I thought it only fair to chip in.
Just found this :

In line with the guidance found in ‘Accessible Stadia’, published by the Football Licensing Authority (FLA,) and provided by The Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF), a minimum of 240 wheelchair positions are required.
We have 255 positions. The Rags have 300 which is possibly in line, based on them having larger stadium.

I'm afraid they reckon all their fandom as disabled.

What’s the point of a forum without debate or discussion? Or would you like if like RAWK where all views are the same?
My direct question to you pidge is ..if u dont care what is said about us in the media, why do you bother with the media coverage thread?
