The first question a journo (didn't catch who) asked Pep in today's presser was about the paper boy. He tried to work in that Pep also managed a team he played for in an attempt to make it semi-relevant. Pep, as always, answered politely but I would have answered "This is a Manchester City press conference. Why are you asking questions about Manchester United. United are irrelevant to City. Next question." We can but dream (sigh).
Should have just said "who?"

Most 'high profile' because of the amount of stories that appear in the media?
No, most high profile because as an individual Jose has spent so much of his time self promoting himself that he becomes newsworthy. Put is this way - I live (obviously) in Scotland. I reckon a good half a dozen people (none of whom were United followers) mentioned his sacking and saying "how pleased are you" knowing my allegiances (but not knowing I was gutted cos he was doing a great job runining the club). Not one person said "you must be pleased to be in the semi" - "or pleased to have drawn Burton" the next day). As such - the press got correct the public interest levels

“You’re Gary Neville you can do what you want”

Tyler is such a fvcking arselicker, when are they gonna put the senile old cvnt out to pasture ?

Predictable, but incredible nonetheless, that Sky and the back pages completely ignore the Salah dive whilst focusing on the Delph challenge....

I will never buy another paper in my lifetime, but I’m presuming they’re all saying that Liverpool need to lose a few ‘for the good of the premier league’?

Has anyone found one sentence in the RDAHMeedya this morning that is giving a bit of detail or opinion on El Pharaoh having to leave his zimmerframe in the stand? Compare the media coverage of the 'dives' by Niasse at EFC and Lanzini at WHU. Both of those got a two match ban. I think the criteria seems to be: Is the guy a foreigner ('cos Johnny Foreigner brought all this diving shit to the PL!), does the guy play for a team outside the top six, and were the team who have been screwed also out of the top six? Only one tick for Salah, but all ticks for Niasse and Lanzini. And then the RDAHMeedya can take the moral high ground by pronouncing that all this diving shite needs eradicating from the game!

The Daily Mail online seems to think we have not sold out for the Dippers. Perhaps the truth doesn't get as many clicks as their version.

The sad thing is that people probably believe it aswell, guessing the only reason they can get away with saying that is because there is hospitality still available?

2 losses in a row and the social media vultures are out in full force trying to fill their bellys with the rotten corpes of this once great team. And that's how they set the narrative. Because that gives them the opportunity to troll.

The actual truth is we're last season's centurians. Champions. Been playing mesmerising football. What they're actually doing is ripping at live flesh and passing it of as dead meat.
