"Hand of God hat trick from Sergio Aguero" - Sky News

Lots of credit there....

They are always giving us our due credit

Every commentator, every time we score, sounds like they have just realised they have stepped in dog poo.
Best example..tyler at anfield when silva equalised in front of the kop..the hillsborough anniversary match...he just went quiet, then mumbled something.

My lad tells me that the PL have confirmed that had VAR operated Sergio's third wouldn't have stood. What have they confirmed about Salah's diving?
Have they also confirmed that we would have had a penalty, or that wolves equalising goal earlier in the season would not have stood? or are their confirmation statements only aimed against us.If the ball hits a defenders hand like Kuns today it would not be a penalty as the keeper deflected it onto him from two yards away as he is sliding in.Fortunate, yes, handball? no.

I want to see their video evidence, that it did hit his arm.

I only saw it on tv, but there was no intent and I think its more that a funny spin on the ball takes it into the net. Just as an aside, we only seem to get any kind of break when it doesnt change anything, and still it gets blown up by the media etc, we could do with a couple to actually win a game, then we would see how the wnkers moan.

Spot on,strange thing is the front camera view it looks like it hits his arm/ elbow the rear camera view hits him on the side of his body and rolls past his arm without touching well that’s how I seen it ..

It’s nonsense though, isn’t it. You can pick a few choice quotes and bemoan the media but if you look at tomorrow’s back pages they’re all actually pretty complimentary about us. I’m sure we never used to be so self-pitying.

Perhaps I'm being stupid but it would not be the Premier League that would disallow Aguero's goal with VAR would it? So why seek comment from them?

My mate Burt from Stockport said it would absolutely be allowed under VAR is just as relevant

i back page headline:
"Aguero admits hat-trick goal went in off his hand"

Front page trail headline:
"Aguero lends a hand to keep City in title hunt"

Report headline:
"Pressure on Liverpool as handy Aguero sinks Arsenal"

First line is the head/right foot/left hand line.

Burt can always be relied upon to give a honest opinion on the weekends events ; )

My son raised the same point re Sergio's goal and the PL confirmtion of Var disallowal - he raises the goal Millwall scored in the FArce Cup! Selective use of selected incidents. No a fuckin' dicky about the Wolves goal, our pens (plural)! Typical of the sewage that spews out of these media and governing body outlets!

Completely agree, hits his side and goes in. Might of brushed his arm on the way past, might and even if did no intention. Perfectly good goal and if PL claiming VAR would have disallowed it, then the game is up as VAR will end up being more contentious than a poor referee.

You see us as self-pitying I just see it as honest debate as we don't often get a lot of credit for our achievements.

So there is no bias then?, Editor's blameless? Everything in the media kosher? Phew, what a relief. Shame on us remainers who support City and detest right-wing politicians/supporters. Because some of us may stretch evidence a little does not mean the entire premise of media bias is bogus. Media bias created brexit, carries it, keeps it stampeding to the cliff and over the edge. With nothing more than rumour and lies.
The sky/rags/diaper bias is entirely money driven, subscriptions/shirts/ad-revenue add up to billions, who or what threatens that is firmly in the firing line
