Just read it, was a good read early doors when Phil Scraton was talking about Hillsborough but after that it descended into what I can only describe as feltching.

It means more , just about sums up the arrogance of Dippers from the fans all the way up to the management , if you could use the "it means more" statement then it belongs to our supporters , it means more because we have witnessed the dark days followed our club through thin and thin for decades whilst the Dippers most trying event in the last 50 years has been their failure to make the top six . F*ck Liverpool , f*ck their supporters and their history , we've done the miles and worn the T-shirt and had the piss taken out of us by our nearest neighbours for years , Dippers plastic fan base are lightweights in comparison.

We all know whats probably going to happen if (we can all dream) we do end up winning the treble. We may get the odd "token" headline about Pep and being Champs again but the majority of the media will be saying that we should win it with the money we've spent while focusing on how "brilliant" Klopp and how unlucky the dippers have been and that they deserve to be champions.

Very likely, and we can all think to ourselves, 'fuck 'em'.

I completely agree with every word you say.

The "Money" argument is flawed. When you consider the rags have spent £180M on Lump-awood and the show pony, £500,000 per week on the piano player and yet they play like a championship outfit.

Every top club spends a fortune, the difference is we spend well.

There's something from Liverpool's history that the Guardian article seems to be missing - can't quite put my finger on it though...

Actually, he mentioned it once, but I think he got away with it!

Sky sports app Regional Headlines tonight unbelievable. The London Evening Standard story is only covering Pep worry about losing Otemendi and Gundogen. This is only bettered by MUEN obsession with headliners on Dippers all day and Brenda etc etc
As predicted before a crucial week, all our players are leaving, the media pull this stunt every time

But the records will show the truth.

The media licking the dipper arse is irrelevant.

And how the Dippers have done it all on a shoestring budget ...
