BBC news just now. City fan and dippers fan on. At the end they asked for them to just say a nice quote regarding the others team

City fan praised Liverpool

They've got some unknown cockney rapper on 5live who's done a clever rhyme for the occasion - followed by a 5 minute interview - Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool....he's a Liverpool fan, don't you know!
Oh, and apparently, Wolves are a good team who've beaten all the top 6 this season! Obviously, that last fact wasn't corrected.
On to some wrestlers now - Americans, from WWE - who are putting on a show in....... .. wait for it......... can you guess?
Liverpool!!! I wonder who they'll be supporting.
I daren't put Talk sport on.
Anyhow, the sky's a beautiful sky blue today, so they can all fxxx off coz we're winning the league today.
 
Why would it 'make history' if Liverpool won? Is it Jordan Henderson's 150th appearance or something? Surely the narrative should be City's phase 2 of a potentially historic and unprecedented treble.

It would be their "1st" premier title and that would create huge amounts of new isteree for them.
 
Read an interview with a neuroscientist, Dr Hannah Critchlow, on the Guardian website. Makes a very interesting point:

So what does neuroscience tell us about how you might go about changing someone’s mind or winning an argument?
It’s very difficult. Once you have built up a perception of the world, you will ignore any information to the contrary. Your brain is already taking up about 20% of your energy, so changing the way that you think is going to be quite cognitively costly. And it might be quite socially costly too.


Essentially, you’re wasting your time engaging with morons, so no need to get wound up.

He's had to put it back from its original publish date of 09/05/19 because of a few football matches that have taken over everyone's minds and, therefore, wouldn't allow anyone to really grasp the content of the article. He says publication has been delayed because the article is with the lawyers. The thing is that you can't be sued for libel for telling the truth. If the claims he's making are true he's got nothing to worry about and should go ahead and publish it. Clearly though he knows his article is so full of shit that the lawyers have freaked out and it will never see the light of day unless it's completely watered down to the point where it's completely meaningless. He boasts that he was once voted Irish sports journalist of the year which is the equivalent of being voted Liechtenstein's best waiter. What a total arsewipe.

The bit in bold is exactly what the media has been doing to us for several years now. They've sown a seed in the minds of the public and every fuckers fallen for it hook , line and sinker
