To the media:

We've spent money on good players, hired a great manager and we've won some trophies. Legally.

What's the big deal?
The big deal Robin Hood is that it's the wrong bleedin football club winning all the bastard silverware.

We've had that lucrative institution over at Trafford the past couple of decades proving to be a nice little cash cow for us.

Over at the Dipperdrome we're working tirelessly to worm our way back into the hearts and minds of our scouse readership.

M.C.F.C have irrevocably put an end to the status quo in English football and frankly we don't like it one little bit.

Yours insincerely

The broadcasting media / written press.

I think it is admiring, it's saying that we're so good that it's hard to see how you get to a point where you can compete with us.

But my point is that it's just about time. Imagine if Liverpool had United's budget and love of mega-signings - they'd have a better, deeper squad and definitely be up there competing to be the Madrid to our Barcelona and might well have beaten us in the league or made it deeper in the cups. Again that's because Liverpool have had 5 consistent years of building.

United need 5 years with a manager who can grasp and build towards a long term project, a DoF who is both competent and meshes well with the manager, and back him with 500m over those 5 years, and the fans need to be patient.

I don't think any of those things are going to happen, but that's what it takes.

Ah, fair enough. Yes, a long connected plan.

Now we've done the quadruple, I don't give f*** what any journalist thinks or writes.

Time to lock this thread, Ric.

Danny Murphy's take on the final, yes he's still alive, is that Kev will question his future here if he's benched again.

I honestly didn't think that there existed a barrel with such a low bottom.

The Ant Hill Mob caricature has truly proven that there should be a secondary Darwin award for stupid ****s who haven't managed to do the decent thing.

Blimey, that's close to arrant sense.

It's interesting that Hayward and Northcroft, Times and Telegraph are the ones with much more circumspect, professional, objective stances.

The Guardian, Independent is where most of the stuff that's outraged City fans has come from.

Anyone at the club monitoring these forums? WTF is happening when we're letting so-called journalists get away with this sort of sh*t.

I'm told the journalist in question was Rob Harris, basically asking Pep if he took backhanders from the Sheik. The bloke is so bitter he couldn't wait to p*ss all over our parade it seems.

The club needs to get on this, no wonder some areas of the media are queuing up to try & say anything that may damage us. They think we're a soft target & an easy touch!

Its not water off a ducks back, its not just words, its the clubs reputation, its Peps reputation & it goes beyond freedom of speech into a legal issue, at least it should when the club realises any charm offensive is pointless on bitter little rats like Rob Harris.....

Continue to let him come to press conferences and just not take his questions. Hyperbole aside, at a bare minimum his behavior today was simply unprofessional. I’m a stock analyst and when I get on earnings calls sometimes managements take my questions, sometimes not because they run out of time. Only one ignores me; I suspect it’s because I have a negative view of their company. That’s okay. It’s within their rights. Same here.

I’d say the same for Miguel Delaney except that we are literally watching a man go completely over the edge in a public forum. His tweet storm of the last 24 hours (did he sleep?) is actually Trumpian. I fear for his sanity and I’m not joking.

It is about time to stop being so nice, so politically correct, and so holistic. Clearly, this philosophy is not working, and has never worked. In fact it is making trash media reporters more and more bullish towards our Club, our players, our manager, our fans, and the owners. The Club needs to quickly change and adopt a counterattack strategy that shuts those disrespectful bastards off. Banning the culprits or better dragging one to court should set an example that makes others think carefully before they spit their poisonous shit at our Club. There must be someone sensible in this organization who knows what to do. Same is applicable to UEFA too. We need to come very hard at them. I love you Khaldoon, but enough holism please.

Rob Harris was always a Bellend.

Some journos showing their true colors now

Miguel Delaney was up until now a pretty decent journo , who was arguing with city fans all week long ..has finally lost it on Twitter.

These pathetic journos can't take it
