A new attack from the NYT on City.

For Europe’s Soccer Chief, the Outrage Arrives in Waves
A Champions League restructuring and a looming fight with Manchester City have UEFA’s Aleksander Ceferin sitting atop a soccer economy that feels as if it’s pulling itself apart

“Sometimes,” Ceferin said, “we forget how dirty this industry is.”(and it start’s at UEFA’s doorstep, you hypocrite)

Ceferin didn't really attack City- he's smarter than that. He commented generally.
It's an interesting piece though, openly discussing pressures brought against him.

I don't think this piece is aimed at City. It really shows the pressure Ceferin is under. I think the last thing he wants is a legal battle with City.

My unexpected reply from the bent BBC. I was complaining about biased dipper reporting all of the last season. They just paste links from positive City stories from today and totally ignore what I was complaining about. FUCKNUGGETS.
Thanks for getting in touch with us about the BBC Sport website.

We’re sorry if you were unhappy with our coverage of Manchester City of late and that you felt we have been overtly negative or bias against them.

We have looked into your concerns and we can’t agree this is the case. The BBC Sport website features the latest development and news across the world of football and inevitably, there will at times be articles featured that may not reflect clubs in the best light, but we do nevertheless have to report on them.

On the BBC Football homepage today (21 May), there are currently two ‘feel-good’ articles about Manchester City, this is amongst news and updates ahead of this weekend’s Scottish Cup Final:

Pep Guardiola gets lift from Manchester City fan:

Alan Shearer’s analysis on Why Man City are the greatest Premier League team:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48330089

We’ve also covered the extraordinary achievements of City on our dedicated page:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-city

We’re sorry that you feel differently, nevertheless we’ve ensured that the concerns you’ve raised have been fed back to the team involved as they take a keen interest in what our audience are saying and use feedback to help shape future services.

Kind Regards

Don’t know why we are surprised. The BBC is an organisation who turned a blind eye to the likes of Jimmy Saville for years. If they can do that, emails about biased football reporting isn’t even gonna register.

Saw that guy Rob Harris tweet agaom before this time about the head of the woman's team being at some event owned by the Qataris.

He is becoming entrenched in his anti city line now and wont want to back down.

I hate the fact we have to pay their wages to slag us off, almost worth going to prison for not paying the license fee

It's FT Business for Football - a Financial Times event with a whole load of people - including several club chairmen by the look of things. Makel is speaking about women's football.

"Abu Dhabi-owned Man City’s head of women’s football, Gavin Makel, appearing now at #ftfootball conference at a Qatar-owned hotel in London. One for some City fan conspiracy theory accounts - but obviously irrelevant where he is speaking"

Basically, the odious Harris seems to have decided to troll. I'm not sure what point he is trying to make - maybe that City fans shouldn't ask him about Qatar reports? Anyone?

He's also retweeted the equally unpleasant McGeehan who has decided to go with 'bone headed City fans". Their bitterness feels.... okay.

Just been on Twitter and looked at Rabin .... very interesting.

Rabin has to be a collective effort by a number of very intelligent people. Difficult to imagine one person having the amount of time and breadth of knowledge to do what he’s doing.

They might be an information warrior cell. They might be getting help.

Rabin appears to have appeared in February this year.

I’m not very good on Twitter and might not understood how it works.

Whatever - Rabin is doing a great job.

Keep it going Rabin
Rabin is a single entity, a genuinely decent guy, NOT employed by City, (although maybe he should be!) that takes time to research his tweets, unlike me who just calls everyone a c**t.

I have chatted to him numerous times on twatter dm's, I first advised Blues to follow him when he was only on around 350 followers, now he's at over 3800, fully deserved, the guy even took time out of a family holiday to Thailand to do some research.

It's thanks to guys like Rabin and @Prestwich_Blue that I have even the slightest clue what is going on.
