Sorry. I read his tweet after I posted my story and got fooled by the time difference. I have known about the Sheik since it first was reported so I did not get it from the sporting intelligence agent, as I wrote it took about 10 min to find out using google, check out the links I sent to Rolee.

Sarri won a competition qualification for which is by failure. What a pity City weren't bad enough to have to compete in it.

Without wishing to court controversy, you’d have to say that, factually, he is correct and it’s a perfectly valid assertion, especially from an ex-Chelsea man. The reason he would use Pep and not Klopp is that the latter still hasn’t won anything, whilst Pep has since won 5 out of the 6 domestic trophies on offer.

It’s been this for a while, you get the press and a lot of other fans spending years whining about UEFA being an at best incompetent organisation and more likely institutionally corrupt. Until they start investigating City, when all of a sudden they can do no wrong and only have the interests of the game at heart.

He’s comparing him to the winner, the benchmark, not Klopp. I’d say that’s a compliment to Pep and us.

I think Chelsea are mugs for getting rid of Sarri. His Napoli side was superb. This year the media have done everything they can to undermine Sarri, culminating in the fake news story about him losing his temper in training (since rebutted). He has been treated just like Mancini was at City. He's a bit of an eccentric and has upset some of the parasites in the sports press. Time will tell but I think appointing media darling Lampard would be a big mistake for Chelsea. Some of their fans are smart enough to know this but that's not the media narrative.

After last years parading of the premier league trophy against Huddersfield I wandered around from the south stand to where the players tunnel is to get some better pictures. On my way I passed a load of seats with desks and microphones and such on, I presumed these were for the press. All padded, prime location by the halfway line in the lower tier. So not a box as such but bloody good seats the wankers.
 
It's been several days and the Mirror newspaper hasn't uttered a word about Khaldoon,they always cover it and after what he said i thought they would pile in,very strange
