Really pee’d off that you made me click on that. It was Kelechi for those that don’t want to give them the clicks.

Stop the boats (full of journalists).

Its disrepesectful to Fluminese, Brazilian football on the whole, Bayern & Real Madrid (who we had to beat to be in the tournament).

Its just so arrogant, so uneducated, so Telegraph.
Simple Sammy Wallace started his career as tea boy at the Torygraph. He moved on to the failing Independent, joining veteran hack -James Lawton and oddball-wierdo Ian Herbert. The three of them ( all rabid rag apologists ) regularly produced "Glory Glory manure" articles, interspersing them with virulent attacks on City as they became increasingly relevant. The "Inde" failed and Oddball Herbert moved on to the Mail ( where he continues to pen Anti-City diatribes ) and "Simple Sammy" was bizarrely - given his extreme limitations and prejudices - appointed "Chief Football Writer" at the Telegraph.

Just prior to City's appearance in the European Champions Final, Sammy penned another fierce attack on City which received much attention on this thread. The gist of the piece was that City should never have been in a position to be in Istanbul as they should be serving a 2 year ban. City "got off" because they employed expensive lawyers against which UEFA could not compete. To paraphrase this article :-

On June 10th 2020 ... 2 year ban overturned ... fine cancelled... UEFA's FFP in ruins.... City's team of 11 lawyers prevail
Judgement of City's guilt came down to whether breaches fell within UEFA's 5 year time frame
The infamous (!) threat to unleash 50 lawyers had prevailed rather than City should bow to UEFA's ( surely Gill's ?)
rules.
Nine Premier League Clubs... applied to CAS to block any possible delay
The case headed inexorably to the hearing and a CAS panel of 3 , 2 of whom had been selected by UEFA's opposition.
Now it is the Premier League's legal team that faces City's Lawyers.

Sammy appears to think it outrageous that City should employ lawyers to defend themselves against Leterme/Parry/Gill's Kangaroo Court proceedings.
The involvement of the 9 clubs trying to prejudice proceeding was "fine and dandy" .
Any commentator with an ounce of integrity knows these charges were a joke and yet Leterme and Co. went ahead despite knowing most of their charges were time-barred under UEFA's own rules.
and NO! you half-witted moron -City did not select 2 ( of the 3 ) adjudicators.

So poor ole Sammy has to go and watch City in the final and submit his report on the event. An English Football Club wins the Champions Cup and what is Sammy's response :

Sheikh Mansour attending just his second City game
no reference from Guardiola to the 115 Premier League charges
football belongs to Abu Dhabi's club - for now at least.
15 Years to defeat UEFA
their mysterious benefactor from Abu Dhabi has only found time once to watch his creation
There is still the Premier League's 115 charges ... the replaying of the case that UEFA could not make stick.
This is not a glory story without its caveats.

To be fair to the Telegraph all their other reporters were complimentary about City. Just a shame that the twisted creep who masquerades as their Chief Football Writer should get away with penning such malicious bile.

How much of the media are scared of the dippers?

Not one has mentioned they haven't come out against a new European Superleague.
The media are oddly afraid of the dippers and given how they continually use hillsborough as a shield despite being violent detestable cunts at literally every turn you can see why they are?

Typical click baiting behaviour from the rag tops. Football reporting is not the same, it’s not even in the same postcode anymore since 2019.

They have figured out that scandals, gossip and football finance with perceived cheating makes people engage and buy or sub to their product.

Just ignore it. City are used to sell sell sell. They don’t care how much hate or lies is directed at the club nor it’s supporters.

The same people hack dead people phones and precede to hide behind freedom of the press.

So don’t give them your outrage anymore nor your hard earned money.

The rise of the internet and the demand for clicks is why we constantly have negative stories. The rags/dips lap it up to justify their hate towards city all the while wrapped up in a media snuggle blanket giving each other head.

City will be fine infact we are currently the best team in Europe, uk and soon the world -:)

So yea read it and laugh at what we have done to them or don’t read it but don’t give them any feelings on the matter.

He’ll soon be describing Sheik Mansour as his boss……… but not for long I suspect.
