What a **** Tyldesley is. Lee Dixon bemoans the decision to scrap FA Cup replays from next season and Tyldesley replies that some of the best goals in FA Cup history have been scored in replays and out of all the goals he could’ve mentioned he picks Ricky Villa’s to illustrate his point

TBf it probably is the most famous replay goal in FA Cup final history.(I have seen) Unfortunately it was against City. And the novelty of it being scored by an Argentinian player, 1 year, give or take, before the Falklands War. It’s part of FA Cup history, whether City fans are arsed about the goal or not anymore? I’m more arsed about the Wigan goal still.

At one point Tyldesley started waffling about the Electronic Substitute Board coping well with the number of substitutes made, and how long it would be until subs had to scan a barcode before they could enter the pitch.

Not often you hear a mental breakdown live on national television.

To be fair Dixon kept completely silent afterwards to allow the Alan Partridge embarrassment to take full effect.
