Ogden cant seem to hide his desperation.
Ogden seems to be unaware that, by his logic, if Ratcliffe owned Nice win Ligue 1 and the rags finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th (a very long shot I know) they would be in the same situation.

UEFA cleared both RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg to participate this season because, although having the same owner, they are controlled by different management structures. With UEFA having set the precedent surely that would apply to City and Girona?

All I keep hearing is the media praising Klopp's "loyalty".

Liverpool gave him a new contract, let him spunk millions on new players, turned down ridiculous bids for Salah, all while failing to qualify for the CL.

Klopp then resigns while they're top of the league, announcing it halfway through the season for maximum disruption, and saying his backroom staff are leaving as well.

You'd think just one journalist would have called this out.
You mean like not wearing black armbands on the eve of Heysel at the CL final in 2022 or last season when they had a match on the eve of the anniversary while every year making sure they wear black armbands and have a minutes silence every April

CFG don't even own 50% of Girona, so can't see what the issue would be.

I know some will say it doesn't/shouldn't matter but I did find this article from a while back interesting:

Some on there aren't so bad and it shouldn't matter what team a journalist supports away from the job.

The problem is that more and more are being fanzine writers for their club - and it's mainly utd and liverpool supporting ones that get the main stories.

They are part of an industry that is self serving, they enjoy an easy existence as long as they write what the football establishment want.

Some take it way to far and need banning from the Etihad IMHO mate.

I thought that this had already been debunked.

My recollection is that there are rules, and it's based on majority shareholding. CFG own less than 50% of Girona, so it's fine.

Ogden know's it's fine. He's just a troll.

Like most 'journalists' these days they say stupid shit they know is false to get people angry enough to click on it and share.

Not that the journalist industry was ever brilliant but clickbait has ruined whatever was good about it.

Yeah I think so too.

I just know from reading on here years ago that City are mindful that banning journalists would lead to criticism about UAE's/Abu Dhabi's freedom of speech, human rights, freedom of journalists, etc.
