Look on the bright side...

Think of all the frothing Liverpool fans who will click on the article, already drooling on their keyboards, as they imagine seeing City at the top.

Their little contorted faces as they scan the top of the table, seeing Liverpool, but not understanding why they keep missing City. Eventually, they scroll down, and see the truth. They head to RAWK to bang out a message saying they will never read The Athletic again. They head to bed in tears.

The TNT coverage bordered on the ridiculous at times. During the post-match analysis they started talking about Bukayo Saka in relation to Phil Foden, suggesting that Saka was "world-class." This is the same Saka who is one year younger than Phil (12 major trophies) who has not won a single trophy in his career. Utterly absurd coverage.
that was embarrassing and felt camel gob and lescott felt same
but whatever helps her sleep at night

When they asked Shay did the charges taint Peps legacy I really wanted Shay to say to Maloney ( the presenter) did the Ryan turbidy affair at RTE taint his own reputation in the media.
But I guess that would be the last of him on RTE
You'd need Joe Brolly on to come out with that!
